  6. Let me make one thing perfectly clear.  I am personally
  7. opposed to the wave of muggings sweeping the country, and I'd
  8. never participate in such an act.  But I have no right to
  9. impose my morality on others.  Rather, the mugger should have
  10. the right to choose.  The decision is a personal one, and
  11. should be protected from governmental intervention.  This
  12. country was founded on the right to privacy and freedom of
  13. choice.

  15. Beware of fanatical victims rights groups, who use emotion
  16. to dramatize their anti-choice position.  Many of these
  17. people attend churches which also hold anti-mugging views.
  18. That makes this a religious issue, protected by the
  19. constitutional separation of church and state.
  20.  
  21. Making mugging illegal certainly won't stop all of the
  22. incidents.  It will only make criminals out of the muggers
  23. and drive it underground.  Therefore the only alternative is
  24. legalization.  That's why I support unrestricted mugging on
  25. demand.  After all, you can't legislate morality.

  27. We must vote for progressive, pro-choice politicians who
  28. support permissive mugging laws.  Legalized mugging is safe
  29. and efficient, performed out in the open under ideal
  30. conditions.  How could we ever return to the days of "back
  31. alley" muggings?
